Die Ausstellung, Colours of the other Art‘ im Kunstkiosk Gelsenkirchen Buer zeigt eine bunte, leidenschaftliche und experiementielle Begegnung mit der Wiederentdeckung von verlorenen Farben und Materialien. Kann eine blaue Frau Realität sein? In der Natur sicherlich nicht – in der künstlerischen Vorstellungskraft aber durchaus. Vom 10. Juli - 01. August 2021 zeigte das Atelier Schlechtriem, bestehend aus Mutter und Tochter, ein gemeinschaftliches Zusammenspiel an verschiedenen Werken. Alle Werke sind in gemeinsamem Arbeitsphasen in den Jahren 2019 und 2020 entstanden und spiegeln die eigene Verbindung, Wahrnehmung und die Veränderungen dieser Zeit wider. Die beiden Künstlerinnen zeigen eine Variation an farbenstarken Themenwelten und ein großes Reportoire an unterschiedlichen Arbeitstechniken. Der Ausstellungsraum mit Kiosk- Atmosphäre ist gefüllt mit über 20 Leinwänden und kleinen Einzelwerken, Skulpturen und bunten Postkarten. Die Symbolik eines Neuanfangs bzw. Anfangs steht im Mittelpunkt, da dies die erste Ausstellung der beiden Künstlerinnen ist. Die Themenwelten der Werke unterstreichen die mutige Wiederentdeckung des eigenen bunten Seelenlebens und bestätigen den Titel dieser Ausstellung: ‚Colours of the other Art.‘ Musikalisch begleitet wurde der Tag der Eröffnungsfeier vom Künstlerduo Irene und Gerado Gramajo. Ästhetische Klassik trifft bunte Gelsenkirchener Barock Atmosphäre. Erfrischend mehrdimensional war die Ausstellung im Gelsenkirchener Kunstkiosk und endete für die beiden Künstlerinnen mit einer erfolgreichen Finissage am 01. August 2021.

The exhibition, Colours of the other Art' at Kunstkiosk Gelsenkirchen Buer shows a colorful, passionate and experiemental encounter with the rediscovery of lost colors and materials. Can a blue woman be reality? Certainly not in nature - but in the artistic imagination. From July 10 - August 01, 2021, Atelier Schlechtriem, consisting of mother and daughter, showed a collaborative interplay on various works. All works were created in joint work phases in 2019 and 2020 and reflect their own connection, perception and the changes of this time. The two artists show a variation of colorful thematic worlds and a large repertoire of different working techniques. The exhibition space with a kiosk atmosphere is filled with over 20 canvases and small individual works, sculptures and colorful postcards. The symbolism of a new beginning or beginning is the focus, as this is the first exhibition of the two artists. The thematic worlds of the works underline the courageous rediscovery of one's own colorful soul life and confirm the title of this exhibition: 'Colours of the other Art.' The day of the opening ceremony was musically accompanied by the artist duo Irene and Gerado Gramajo. Aesthetic classical meets colorful Gelsenkirchen baroque atmosphere. Refreshingly multidimensional was the exhibition in the Gelsenkirchen Kunstkiosk and ended for the two artists with a successful finissage on 01 August 2021.
